Pre & Post School Childcare
A distinctive feature of our school is "wrap-around care". School opens at 8am with Breakfast Club and we have an onsite afterschool club run by Shine, that cater for families with working parents until 6pm. During the week there are a number of clubs run until 4:30pm by staff. Details of which can be found below.
Monday - Programming Club (Y4,5,6),
Tuesday - Imaginative Movement (Rec - Y2), Performing Arts (Y1-6), Warhammer (Y4,5,6)
Wednesday - Construction Club (Rec - Y2), Art Club
Thursday - Storytelling, Illustration Club (Y2-6), Lego Club (Y1-2)

Shine After School Club has been delighted with the initial uptake of its new Autumn half-term weekly sports programme with Gymnastics and Football hugely popular as always.
Shine After School Club has been delighted with the initial uptake of its new Autumn half-term weekly sports programme with Gymnastics and Football hugely popular as always.
The term-time schedule offers a range of exciting options including Olympic multi-sports, gymnastics, tag rugby and the ever popular football. The sessions are open exclusively to St. Ursulas school children who wish to participate in well organised, safe and fun based sporting activities during the 15:30 to 16:45 session period.
Traditionally 'outdoor sports', such as football, will be held outside when possible but, with the winter nights approaching, Shine's qualified and experienced coaching team will be taking the children inside to utilise the spacious sports hall.

ARTS & CRAFTS
For those children who enjoy arts and craft, sessions will run simultaneously between 15:30 and 18:00 with Shine After School Club manager Janie Houlden and her assistant Lyn Murphy organising a wide range of creative projects including:- painting, cake decorating, collages, clay modelling, puppet making and many other creative ideas.
