St Ursula’s E-ACT Academy is a non-denominational Academy, free to all children aged between four and 11 years. It replaces the former independent school, St Ursula’s Independent School and is sponsored by E-ACT. E-ACT has been working in partnership with Bristol City Council to open a new Academy on the site of the former St Ursula’s School and the Academy is well on track to open in September.
The E-ACT team and the former school have also been working in very close partnership with parents and it is due to their efforts and commitment that the Academy will open in September of this year.
The Academy has appointed Mrs Lynette Carter as the new Principal Designate. Mrs Carter was the headmistress at St Ursula’s and has a great deal of experience both in the state and independent sectors. Read her welcome message here
The Academy will aim to provide more than 400 primary places as it grows and develops. The Academy uses the same criteria for admissions as Bristol City Council. You can read more here, scroll down the page for specific information about St Ursula’s E-ACT Academy.
