Private education is an important commitment - there must be very good reasons to devote your resources to your child's future in this way. We offer those reasons at St. Ursula's. |

While our teaching is based on the National Curriculum we are not fenced in by it. For children with special abilities we aim to guide them well beyond the 'average' standard targeted by the state sector and to prepare each child for successful transfer, including entrance examination, bursaries and scholarships, to your chosen form of secondary education. We also value children with specific learning difficulties, with specialist facilities and one to one teaching available as well as through a school network of support and liaison. We set a maximum class size of 20 children in any one class, normally far fewer. This means your child will receive teaching support and encouragement personal to him or her every day. At St. Ursula's there is time for every child. Parents are welcome! We stay closely in touch with you throughout your child's time at St. Ursula's and our very active parents group, 'The Friends of St. Ursula's' ensures that parents can play as large a part of the school's busy life as they wish to.
